Chegg Buys Internships.com
San Jose-based Chegg said today that it has acquired Internships.com, an online site focused on student internships. The company said it paid $11M, split between $10M in cash and $1M in stock, for Internships.com. Internships.com was based in Burbank, California. Chegg said the asset deal adds around 2 million registered students, 380 university relationships, and 90,000 internships from 60,000 companies to its Chegg Career Center.
