Hitachi Data Systems Picks Up Shoden Data Systems
Santa Clara-based Hitachi Data Systems, the data storage arm of Hitachi, Ltd., said this week that it is acquiring Shoden Data Systems, a provider of data center technology in South Africa and across the sub-Saharan African continent. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced. The two said they have been working together for 11 years. Shoden is headquartered in Johannesburg.
