Wyse Technology Acquired By Dell
San Jose-based Wyse Technology, the manufacturer and developer of think client terminals, has inked a deal to be acquire by computer manufacturer Dell. Financial terms of the deal were not announced by the companies. Dell said the buy will help bolster its desktop virtualization capabilities. Wyse's hardware has become part of the move towards cloud-based, virtual desktop deployment. Wyse was founded in 1981.
