Redwood City-based photo sharing and printing site Shutterfly said Wednesday that it has acquired Photoccino, an Israeli firm developing photo ranking and analysis software. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced. Shutterfly said it will hire Photoccino's current employees, who will continued to be based in Haifa. Shutterfly also said it will integrate Photoccino's image analysis and selection software--used for organizing photos--into its own products.
