10gen Gets Investment From In-Q-Tel
Palo Alto- and New York-based 10gen, the developer of the MongoDB NOSQL database software, reported today that it has received a strategic investment from In-Q-Tel, the investment arm of the U.S. intelligence community. Financial details of that investment were not announced. 10gen said the move will include helping the firm to "closely align" with the U.S. Intelligence community and address unique mission critical requirements. 10gen's other investors include Flybridge Capital Partners, New Enterprise Associates, Sequoia Capital, and Union Square Ventures.
