FlightCar Gains $5.5M For Peer-To-Peer Airport Car Rentals
Are you a frequent traveler, who would love to make money--rather than pay money--when you've parked your car at the airport? San Mateo-based FlightCar disclosed today that it has raised $5.5M in a Series A funding, which included General Catalyst, Softbank Capital, First Round Capital, Andreessen Horowitz, Brian Chesky (AirBNB), Seacrest Global Group, and other angels. FlightCar allow travelers who are on vacation or business offer up their cars for rental to other travelers, and receive a portion of those rental fees.
