Dwolla Raises $16.5M More, Sets Up Shop In San Francisco
Online payment infrastructure developer Dwolla said today that it has raised $16.5M in a funding round, and opened up operations in San Francisco. The firm said the Series C funding came from Andreessen Horowitz, and also included Village Ventures, Union square Ventures, and Thrive Capital. Dwolla operates a payment network aimed at individuals, businesses, and developers to accept and send payments. The firm is based in Des Moines, Iowa.
