CircleUp Lands $7.5M For Crowdfunding Site
San Francisco-based CircleUp, which operates an online, crowdsourcing site aimed at consumer companies, has raised $7.5M in a Series A funding. The firm said the funding was led by Union Square Ventures, and also included Google Ventures, Rose Park Advisors, Maveron, and others. CircleUp is geared at consumer companies looking for a way to raise money for their company. The firm is led by Ryan Caldbeck.
