Mountain View-based Gridstore, a developer of storage which is specifically tuned for Windows Server and Hyper-V, said this week that it has raised $11M in a Series B funding round. The funding was led by Acero Capital, and also included GGV Capital, Investec Ventures Ireland Limited, ONSET Ventures, as well as a set of its original angels. The company develops optimized, software-defined storage specifically architected to handle virtualization in the Windows Server architecture.
