Nutanix, which is developing a highly optimized server appliances focused on enterprise data centers, has raised $101M in a Series D financing. According to Nutanix, the funding values the company at approximately $1 billion. The round was led by Riverwood Capital and SAP Ventures, and also included Morgan Stanley Expansion Capital, Greenspring Associates, Lightspeed Venture Partners, Khosla Ventures and Battery Ventures. The firm has now raised $172.2M in funding.
