Spoonrocket Finds $11M For Food Delivery Service
San Francisco-based SpoonRocket, a startup which delivers healthy, gourmet meals and food directly to users, said today that it has raised $11M in a Series A funding round. The funding was led by Foundation Capital, and also included General Catalyst. As part of the funding, Foundation's Paul Holland joins the company's board of directors. FoodRocket said, along with the funding, that it has named Barney Brown as its Senior Executive Chef; Brown was formerly the Executive Chef of the Rotunda Neiman Marcus.
