San Francisco-based
Mesosphere, which is helping to develop the open source Apache Mesos software, used for scaling out cloud infrastructure, said today that it has raised $10M in a Series A funding. The funding came from Andreessen Horowitz, and also included another $500,000 from Data Collective, and Fuel Capital. The company says it will help support the open source Apache Mesos platform, which is being used by Twitter, Airbnb, Hubspot, eBay, Netflix, and many others. The startup is led by Florian Leibert.
