NetSpeed Systems Snags Series B
San Jose-based NetSpeed Systems said today that it has raised a second round of funding, which came from Walden-Riverwood Ventures and Intel Capital. Size of the investment was not disclosed. NetSpeed develops systems-on-a-chip (SoC) cores, which enable IP networking. As part of the funding, Walden-Riverwood co-founder Lip Bu Tan takes the position of Chairman of NetSpeed's board of directors. NetSpeed is led by Sundari Mitra.
