Ravello, which develops software which allows VMware virtual machines to run on Amazon Web Services, said today that it has raised $28M in a funding round. The fundin was led by Qualcomm Ventures and SanDisk Ventures, along with Sequoia Capital, Bessemer Venture Partners, Norwest Venture Partners and Vintage Investment Partners. Ravello said it is enabling enterprises to use AWS and Google Cloud as an extension of their data center.
