Oracle Acquires Ravello
Redwood Shores-based Oracle has acquired Israeli software company Ravello Systems, the companies said on Monday. The deal is worth approximately $500M. Ravello's software allows developers to run their VMware/KVM environment in the cloud, including Oracle's Public Cloud offering. Ravello Systems was venture backed by NVP and Sequoia Capital.
