CipherCloud Acquires Anicut Systems
San Jose-based CipherCloud has acquired some core cloud security analytics technology from Anicut Systems, the company said Tuesday. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Anicut was a provider of security-as-a-service products. Anicut was also based in San Jose, with offices in Bangalore. CipherCloud is venture backed by Transamerica Ventures, Delta Partners, Andreessen Horowitz and T-Venture.
