Revolution Analytics Acquired By Microsoft
Mountain View-based Revolution Analytics, the developer of the "R" big data analytics language, is now part of Microsoft, the two said today. Financial details of the acquisition--which was originally announced in January--have not been disclosed. Microsoft said it will build R and Revolution's technology into such products as SQL Server and Azure.
