Metanautix Acquired By Microsoft
Palo Alto-based data analytics software developer Metanautix, which dvelops SQL-drive database query software, has been acquired by Microsoft. Financial details of the acquisition were not announced. Microsoft said it will incorporate the technology from Metanautix into its SQL Server and Cortana Analytics Suite. Metanautix was founded by Theo Vassilakis (CEO) and Toli Lerios (CTO), and was venture backed by Sequoia Capital, Workday, and SHiva Shivakumar.
