Redwood City-based
Stanza, which until recently was known as SpotOn.it, said this week that it has raised $4.3M for its calendar synchronization tools. The funding came from Metamorphic Ventures, Founder Collective, Tekton Ventures, Western Technology Investment and Stanford-StartX Fund, along with the NFL's Ronnie Lott & Harris Barton. Stanza develops tools that help add events--including many sporting events from the NFL, NBA, NHL, and NCAA--to users' calendars, keeping those events synchronized with changes. Stanza is led by Smita Saxena.
