Planet Labs Ups Series C Funding To $118M
San Francisco-based Planet Labs, the satellite imaging startup looking to deploy a large fleet of small satellites for earth imagery, has upped its Series C funding round to $118M, the company said today. The funding--which was originally targeted at $70M--had an initial close in January. The funding was led by International Finance Corporation (IFC), and also included its prior investors. IFC's Nikunj Jinsi led the funding.
