Engine Yard Buys OnDemand
San Francisco-based Engine Yard has picked up the software development firm behind the Deis open source project, the company announced today. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Deis, created by OnDemand, develops open source software used by companies to deploy their own Docker-based, platform-as-a-service (PaaS) in the cloud. OnDemand was based in Boulder, Colorado.
