MapBox, which develops a software stack to implement mapping across different software applications, has raised $52.55M in a Series B funding. The company said the funding was led by DFJ Growth, and also included Foundry Group, DBL Partners, Thrive Capital, Pritzker Group, Promus Ventures, and Jon Winkelried, the former President of Goldman Sachs. As part of the funding, DFJ's Randy Glein and DBL's Ira Ehrenpreis joins the company's board. MapBox is led by Eric Gundersen.
