Thoma Bravo Completes DigiCert Buy
San Francisco-based private equity investor Thoma Bravo said this morning that it has completed its acquisition of SSL certificate provider DigiCert. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced. Thoma Bravo was advised by Kirkland & Ellis and Jeffries LLC in the deal; DigiCert was advised by Goodwin Procter and Evercore. Thoma Bravo said financing for the deal was provided by Jefferies Finance LLC and Fifth Street Asset Management. The deal had originally been announced in August. DigiCert is based in Lehi, Utah.
