Mark Zuckerberg and his wife, Priscilla, have put their support behind a new effort being launched by Bill Gates, to help invest in clean energy technology. Zuckerberg
announced his participation in the investment initiative, the
Breakthrough Energy Coalition, which says it will help support companies who are taking innovative, clean energy ideas out of the lab and into the marketplace. Other investors in the investment effort include Amazon.com's Jeff Bezos, Virgin Group's Richard Branson, Marc Benioff, Ray Dalio, George Soros, John Doerr and Vinod Khosla along with many others.
