Khosla, Bill Gates Invest In Nuclear Power Firm
Kholsa Ventures and Microsoft's Bill Gates are among the latest investors in a Washington state based nuclear power technology firm, TerraPower, which its investors said today has raised $35M in a Series B funding round. According to investor Charles River Ventures, the funding also included Khosla Ventures, Nathan Myhrvold--the former CTO of Microsoft, and Bill Gates. TerraPower is a spinout from Myhrvold's Intellectual Ventures, and is developing nuclear power technology.
