StatMuse Finds $10M For Sports Media
San Francisco-based StatMuse said today that it has raised $10M in a Series A funding round. The funding came from Techstars, The Walt Disney Company, Allen & Co., Greycroft Partners, Promus Ventures, Haas Portman, Deep Fork Capital, and Bee Partners. The startup, led by Eli Dawson and Adam Elmore, uses natural language search software to help fans pull up statistics on their favorite sports teams, currently focused on the NBA.
