Ever wish you could strap ourself into a robotic exoskeleton, ala a "mech", in real life -- and battle it out with your friends? A new, San Francisco-based startup
MegaBots, is hoping to bring those "mechs" to life through real life battles, in an international sports league. The company said this week that it has raised $2.4M to brings its real life, "mech" league to life. The robots for the longest time just existed in the imagination of sci-fi writers and videogame developers, in such games as BattleTech, Final Fantasy, and Metal Gear.
