Morgan Hill-based Paramit, a provider of outsourced medical device and life sciences equipment manufacturing services, said today that it has acquired San Jose-based Lathrop Engineering. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Lathrop Engineering provides product development services, specialized in medical device and diagnostics. Paramit, led by Billoo Rataul, said it will continue to maintain Lathrop Engineer's design center in San Jose. Paramit manufactures its products in Penang, Malaysia.
