San Francisco-based furniture marketplace operator
Move Loot has shut down, according to an email sent to the company's customers, and has sold its customer list to Handy. Financial details of that deal were not disclosed. Move Loot had allowed customers to buy furniture, and handled pickup, storage, and delivery of that furniture to buyers. The company had raised more than $20M in funding from Metamorphic Ventures, First Round Capital, Index Ventures, Great Oaks, IDG and Sherpa Ventures, pus YCombinator and Google Ventures.
