Polycom Switches Suitors, Goes To Siris Capital
Pleasanton-based Polycom has switched suitors, and is now selling itself to private equity investor Siris Capital Group, walking away from an earlier agreement with Mitel Networks. Siris Capital said it would pay $12.50 per share in cash for Polycom, which had earlier agreed to a $1.96 billion acquisition offer from Mitel.
