, the venture investment arm of heavy equipment maker Caterpillar Inc., has made an investment in Utah-based
Busybusy
, a developer of software to help with labor and equipment time tracking for construction companies. The size of the funding was not announced. As part of the funding, busybusy's technology will be offered as a subscription-based service alongside Caterpillar's Cat Connect offerings. Caterpillar Ventures' efforts are managed by General Manager Michael Young.
