AEye, a developer of robotic vision software aimed at autonomous vehicles and other industries, has raised $16M in a Series A funding. The funding came from Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, Airbus Ventures, Intel Capital, Tyche Partners and others. AEye, led by Luis Dussan, says it is developing advanced vision systems which use solid state LiDAR and computer vision software, designed to enable autonomous vehicles.
