Ten-X, the operator of online real estate marketplace Auction.com and other online real estate sites, has been acquired by private equity investor Thomas H. Lee Partners, the companies announced this morning. Ten-X, which has its executive staff split between an office in Menlo Park and Irvine, California, with its CEO in Menlo Park, did not disclose financial details of the deal. Ten-X was venture backed by Stone Point Capital and Capital G (formerly Google Capital). Ten-X was formerly known as Auction.com.
