Primary Data Raises $40M
Los Altos- and Salt Lake City, Utah-based Primary Data, a developer of enterprise software used for managing data storage, has raised $40M in a second round of funding, the company announced on Wednesday. Primary Data's Chief Scientist is former Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak. The funding was split between a $40M, equity funding from Pelion Venture Partners, Accel, Battery Ventures, and others, plus a $20M line of credit.
