SWNG Acquired By Microsoft
San Francisco-based Swing Technologies, which develops the photo app SWNG, has been acquired by Microsoft, the companies said on Tuesday. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced by the companies. Swing's employees will join Microsoft's Skype team. Swing was based in San Francisco, and was founded Tommy Stadlen and Frederick Blackford in 2014. The company was backed by such investors as Biz Stone.
