Proofpoint Buys NetCitadel
Sunnyvale-based Proofpoint, a provider of cloud-based, security software, said today that it has acquired netCitadel, a developer of automated, security incident response software, for approximately $24.0M in cash. Proofpoint said it would use the buy to bolsters its threat solutions. NetCitadel's software was used for automated incident response to security incidents.
