San Francisco-based
Loft Orbital, a provider of service which help users launch earth observing sensors onto shared satellites, has raised $3.2M in a seed funding, and launched its services. The company said the funding was led by Uncork Capital, and also included MDI Ventures, V1 VC, Mercuria Investment Japan and The Remote Sending Tech Center of Japan. The company helps coordinate the addition of sensor payloads to existing satellites being launched into space.
