Atlassian Acquires OpsGenie For $295M

Atlassian
announced this morning that it has acquired
OpsGenie
, a developer of software for responding to IT service disruptions. The deal was worth $295M, split between $259M in cash and the remainder in stock. OpsGenie was based in Boston, and had been founded in 2012. Atlassian said the deal will boost its strategic focus on the IT market.
