Art.com Acquired By Walmart
Emeryville-based Art.com, an online retailer of framed art, canvasas, and decor, has been acquired by Walmart, Walmart announced on Friday. Financial details of the acquisition were not announced. Walmart said that it plans to operate the assets of Art.com as a standalone and complementary site, much like it does Jet.com and Hayneedle.com.
