Symantec Acquires Altiris In $830M Deal
Cupertino, California-based Symantec is acquiring Altiris, a Salt Lake City, Utah-based IT management software developer, the firm said this morning. The deal is worth $830M in cash. Altiris develops software used by enterprise IT managers to manage their PCs and servers.
