Wind River Buys Linux Technology From FSMLabs
Alameda-based Wind River Systems said today that has acquired the intellectual property behind RTLinux, a hard-time real-time Linux operating system developed by FSMLabs. Wind River said it has acquired the patents, copyrights, tradmarks, and associated product rights to RTLinux, along with future runtime revenue streams for the Linux software. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
