Wind River Acquired By TPG
Alameda-based embedded operating systems software Wind River, which is currently part of Intel, has been sold to private equity investor TPG, the company said on Tuesday. Financial details of the buy were not disclosed. The company said that Wind River will continue to be led by Wind River President, Jim Douglas, and his existing executive management team.
