Alcatel-Lucent announced this morning that it is in a definitive agreement to acquire Sunnyvale-based NetDevices, a maker of enterprise networking products. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. NetDevices delivers networking equipment used to connect branch offices. The firm was founded in 2003, and employs 45 in both Sunnyvale and Bangalore, India. NetDevices is venture backed by Artiman Ventures, Castile Ventures, Columbia Capital, ComVentures, and JumpStartup.
