Azul Systems Scores $40M
Mountain View-based Azul Systems said yesterday that it has completed $40M in venture funding, in a round that included Accel Partners, Austin Ventures, ComVentures, Credit Suisse, JVax Investment Group, Meritech Capital Partners, Redpoint Ventures, and Worldview Technology Partners. Azul is a developer of server appliances which optimize Java application performance. The firm said the capital will go towards its product roadmap, and to expand its field operations and global presence.
