Google Completes Postini Buy
Mountain View-based Google announced last night that Postini has officially become a wholly owned subsidiary of the firm. The deal was originally announced July 9th, and was worth $625M. Postini's email and web filtering operations will operate independently of Google, for now. Postini was venture backed by August Capital, Bessemer Venture Partners, Mobius Venture Capital, Pacifica Fund, Summit Accelerator Partners, and Sun Microsystems.
