Synopsys Acquires Sandwork Design
Mountain View-based Synopsys said today that it has acquired Sandwork Design, a Mountain View-based provider of analog and mixed signal verification software. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Sandwork's products provide SPICE analysis and other mixed-signal verification used by semiconductor designers. The firm's products already interoperate with Synopsys tools, which are widely used by analog and digital semiconductor designers for chip design.
