Proofpoint Buys Fortiva
Sunnyvale-based email security firm Proofpoint said today that it has acquired Fortiva, a provider of software as a service for email archiving. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Fortiva's software is used to archive emails for legal discovery and regulatory compliance. Fortiva was venture backed by Cargill Ventures, Ventures West and McLean Watson Capital.
