Amobee Gets Funding From Motorola, Cisco
Redwood City-based Amobee Media Systems, which develops advertising technology for the mobile market, said Wednesday that it has scored strategic investments from Motorola and Cisco Systems. Amount of the investments were not disclosed. According to Amobee, the funding came alongside funding in a round that also included Telefonica, Vodafone, Accel Partners, Globespan, and Sequoia Capital. Amobee said that Gary Schofield has been appointed President and COO of the firm alongside the funding; Schofield was most recently at Digital Chocolate.
