Maxplore Gets $2M For SaaS
Santa Clara-based Maxplore, a developer of supply chain and field service management applications, has scored $2M in an investment from Emergence Capital, the firm said Monday. Maxplore also was named winner of Salesforce.com's Force.com $1M Challenge, a competition for users of Salesforce.com's cloud computing offering. Maxplore's software is entirely based on Force.com. Maxplore's applications are used for managing field service engineers, dispatch, inventory and depot repair, and other related efforts.
