SpringSource Upgrades Java Tools
San Mateo-based SpringSource, a developer of enterprise Java software, said today that it has upgraded the firm's flagship SpringSource Tool Suite. The software, which is used to help build Spring-based Java applications, adds such features as wizards for creating projects, forms-based configuration editing, and more. The new tools plug into the popular Eclipse IDE, which is used by Java software developers for managing their projects. SpringSource is venture backed by Accel Partners and Benchmark Capital.
